Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
At AudioExtractly, user privacy is the foundation of our architecture. We believe file processing tools should never require you to transmit private media over the internet. This policy explains how our browser-based engine operates and why your files never leave your device.
Zero Server Uploads
Your media files and extracted tracks never leave your computer. WebAssembly handles all processing locally.
No Accounts or Profiles
No sign-up, email, login, or personal identifiers required. Immediate, anonymous access.
No Tracking Cookies
Zero third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or behavioral profiling trackers.
Volatile Memory
Files exist purely in temporary browser RAM. All memory allocations are revoked upon reset or tab close.
1. Client-Side Media Processing
AudioExtractly executes media stream inspection, audio track extraction, and subtitle export entirely on your local machine using WebAssembly (WASM). Your media files, extracted audio tracks, video streams, and subtitle text remain inside your web browser sandbox. At no point in the workflow are file bytes, filenames, or media streams uploaded or transmitted to any remote server or third-party cloud service.
2. No Accounts, Login, or Personal Data Collection
You do not need to register an account, log in, or provide an email address, name, or payment details to use AudioExtractly. We do not track, profile, or link extraction activities to any user identity.
3. Zero Telemetry, Cookies, and Advertising
AudioExtractly does not include third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or invasive analytics services. We do not set tracking cookies or store behavioral tracking identifiers in your browser.
4. Temporary Memory & Storage Lifecycle
When you select a video, it is loaded strictly into your browser temporary memory (RAM / WebAssembly virtual filesystem). We do not save media bytes to persistent storage such as localStorage or IndexedDB. Once you reset the tool, change the file, or close the browser tab, all temporary object URLs and memory allocations are automatically revoked and released.
5. Self-Hosted WebAssembly Binaries
All runtime libraries and WebAssembly engine binaries are self-hosted directly from our domain. No external CDN or third-party service receives notification of your media actions.
6. Privacy Inquiries & Contact
If you have questions or concerns regarding our privacy practices or in-browser security architecture, please contact us directly at [email protected].
